San Mateo County is a big place, so there are bound to be plenty of animals in the area. While not all of them are bad, there are definitely those special troublemakers who make people’s lives much harder.
Here are just some of those pesky animals.
Squirrels may be cute, but they wreak a ton of havoc in your home. If you have a bird feeder, then they’ll steal all that food for themselves. If you have a garden, they’ll steal your crops or will dig mounds in your garden to search for food.
Even if you don’t have either of those, a squirrel might still make its way into your home. While there, they’ll chew on your furniture, gnaw on wires, and will crack important pipes.
In short, these animals are bad news.
Rats and Mice
Rats and mice are closely related to squirrels, so it should come as no surprise that they’re bad news as well.
For starters, these rodents carry plenty of diseases. Most of the diseases you’ve ever heard of actually come from rats and mice. This includes salmonella, E. coli, tuberculosis, and even the plague.
Like their cousins, rats and mice are also known to gnaw on your things, ruining wires and leading to burst pipes. If you would like to learn more about the difference between rats and mice visit ratvsmouse.com
Raccoons look like crooks, so it’s no wonder that they cause trouble. These animals are one of the most common carriers of rabies, so you should be wary of them.
Raccoons are also known to make their way into people’s homes, where they’ll settle in and raise their young. While there, they’ll usually end up ripping your insulation, tearing through ducts, and generally making your life a lot harder.
Bats are another common carrier of rabies, but these winged animals also host a number of dangerous parasites. They’re known to take up abodes in people’s attics, where they’ll no doubt start to ruin your home by leaving their droppings everywhere.
Don’t worry if you’ve got animals in your home, because Mighty Men Wildlife Trapping has got your back. We’ll make sure to get rid of any animal bothering you, and we’ll even do it quickly. Once we’re through with them, you can go back to the good life in San Mateo County. So make sure to call us now for more details!
